•  In 2003, about 10 of the friends contributed around Rs 5000 and presented dictionary to the Tenth Standard passed students of a government high school in Pudukottai district. There is a tendency in the rural side that passing of Tenth Standard is enough and that is the end of education. It was only to highlight the importance of higher education these friends started motivating the rural side students.

•  The good work by this group continued year after year.

•  In 2004, the group donated around Rs 6000/- by way of books and uniform materials to the students of weaker sections.

•  In 2005, around Rs 10000 was donated through books and uniform materials to the needy students of two schools.

•  In 2006, the team covered three schools and donated around Rs 15000 by way of books, uniform materials.

•  The year 2007 covered still more number of students as they amount for distribution available was around Rs 20000.

•  During 2008, till now, VIZHUTHUHAL has helped needy students of a college, primary school and high school in Pudukottai and Chennai.
